DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CRYSTALLINE AND AMORPHOUS SOLIDS :

Amorphous solids do not have definite melting points but melt over a wide range of temperature because of the irregular shape. Crystalline solids, on the other hand, have a sharp melting point.
