BC = y = 12 sin 30° = 6

AC = [tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex] + DE + x = [tex]\sqrt{3}[/tex] + 8 + x = 12 cos 30°

⇒ 9.73 + x = 10.39

⇒ x = 0.6623
