I NEED HELP!!

A pigeon was sitting 5 meters from the base of a telephone pole and flew 13 meters to reach the top of the pole. How tall is the telephone pole?

well it’s five to reach pole then 13 to the top so 18 meters! i’m sorry the other person who answered it rude. :)

Answer: 12 meters

Step-by-step explanation: We can use the Pythagorean Theorem again, but this time we are solving for B!

A² + B² = C²

5² + B² = 13²

25 + B² = 169

169 - 25 = B²

144  = B²

[tex]\sqrt{144}[/tex] = B

12 = b
