the forest is a huge producer of oxygen. this rainforest produces about 6% of the worlds oxygen. it’s also seen as a carbon sink - absorbs a large amount of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. this rainforest also houses main species and animals. without the land and environment, many of the animals it’s houses would seize to thrive.
