In LA highschool, what grade is considered passing and what is failing? I have a 62.3% in chemistry right now and I really do not want to retake it or do summer school. First time ever “failing” a class.

From 59 it's a pass

If you know that if you retake it and get better grades than 62.3 percent than retake it but if you are not sure than Don't take summer school
