A) -7x-2y= -13
B) x-2y= 11
Multiply equation B by -1

A) -7x -2y = -13
B) -x +2y = -11
Add the equations

-8x = -24
X = 3
Putting X =3 into Equation B
B) -3 + 2y = -11
2y = -8
y = -4
