Definition
A geometric sequence is a sequence in which the ratio of successive terms is the same.
for example
Sequence 2, 4, 8, 16, ...... is a geometric sequence because the ratio, r, of the successive terms is the same
[tex]\begin{gathered} r\text{ = }\frac{4}{2}\text{ = 2} \\ r\text{ = }\frac{8}{4}\text{ = 2} \\ r\text{ = }\frac{16}{8}\text{ = 2} \\ \ldots \end{gathered}[/tex]Hence, it is TRUE.
