Clare is painting some doors that are all the same size. She used 2 liters of paint to cover 1 3/5 doors. How many liters of paint are nedded for 1 door? Draw a diagran to represent the situation.

so we have that to paint 1 door we have to use:

[tex]\frac{2}{\frac{8}{5}}=2\cdot\frac{5}{8}=\frac{5}{4}=1\frac{1}{4}[/tex]

so we have to use 1 1/4 liter to paint one door
