Ans: 2 molecules of pyruvic acid are formed from glycolysis of 1 molecule of glucose.
In the presence of oxygen, pyruvic acid can then enter the TCA cycle (Krebs cycle) - aerobic respiration
In the absence of oxygen, it forms lactic acid.
